These photos feature young Mike Tyson, the famous American boxer who is the undisputed former heavyweight champion of the world and also holds the record for being the youngest boxer to win the WBA, WBC and the IBF heavyweights at the young age of 20. Even as a teenager, Mike Tyson was a truly intimidating man. Tyson won his championships in the early to mid 1980s after defeating Trevor Berbick, James Smith and Tony Tucker. He is also the very first heavyweight to hold all three titles simultaneously and the only heavyweight to unite all three titles. He became the lineal champion in 1988 after knocking out opponent Michael Spinks after only 91 seconds in the ring. He defended his heavyweight title nine times and lost it to James “Buster” Douglas in 1990. After a controversial rape allegation led to his arrest in 1992, Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison but was released after serving three years.
