Her debut into the film industry came in 1998 after Disney cast her for the lead role in the remake of The Parent Trap. Moving into music, Lohan's first music album Speak was released in 2004, and it was certified platinum. Lohan’s career took a turn for the worse in 2007 after she received two DUIs and went to rehab for substance abuse, which caused her to miss several movie deals.
However, she reinvented herself in 2009 after launching her own fashion line, 6126. She began to act again, and her show Lindsay was aired in 2014 on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
