Born in 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Fox began training for dance and drama at the age of five. After her family moved to Florida she began working as a fashion model at the age of 13 and won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She moved to Los Angeles when she was 17 to pursue her acting career and made her acting debut in the 2001 film Holiday in the Sun.
Megan Fox received her breakout role in the film Transformers and went on to star in popular movies such as Jennifer’s Body and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. After her role in Transformers she received an MTV Movie Award in the Breakthrough Performance category and was nominated for three Teen Choice Awards.
