Pictures of young Halle Berry go back in time to show early years of the talented actress and fashion supermodel who became an American sex icon as soon as she stepped into the limelight. These pictures feature the sexy Halle Berry in her late teenage years and early 20s when her career really began to take off. While she has only become more beautiful with age, as these photos of what Halle Berry looked like when she was young show, she started pretty far ahead to begin with.
Born on August 14, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the first runner-up in the Miss USA Beauty Pageant in 1986 and took sixth place at the Miss World Pageant the same year. Berry landed a role in the 1992 movie Boomerang alongside Eddie Murphy followed by roles in The Flintstones, Bulworth and Introducing Dorothy Dandridge in 1999 for which she won several awards, including the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
For her performance in the critically acclaimed 2002 film Monster’s Ball, she became the first, and only (at the time) woman of color to win an Oscar Award for a leading role. She also took home an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
Throughout her career, Halle Berry has been both a leading lady in the entertainment industry and someone all women want to be (and men want to be with). Considering she's gorgeous and incredibly talented, both attributes dating back to these photos of her early years, Halle Berry is arguably one of a kind.
