Celebs with Political Stances That You Hate
The realm of entertainment gossip may seem like a safe haven from current events, but celebrity politics seem to pop up there, too. Chances are, you can think of a few celebs with political stances that you hate. Many controversial actors, musicians, and other hated celebrities are outspoken about their views, whether they're more conservative or liberal. Some of these political celebrities even seem to change party allegiances to suit their own lifestyles.

The number-one political celebrity is, without a doubt, Donald Trump. The business mogul-turned-reality-star-turned-politician is a popular presidential candidate with some groups, but his views on women, immigration, and foreign policy have left many people wishing he would go back to hosting The Apprentice. Fellow conservative Chuck Norris is outspoken as well, although he seems to have bad luck when it comes to picking presidential candidates: he supported Mike Huckabee in 2008 and Newt Gingrich in 2012.

Several liberal celebs also have annoying political views. If you lean to the left, odds are that you agree with Sean Penn on many issues, but his obnoxious delivery of his views keeps many people at arms length. The Dixie Chicks made a lot of enemies when lead singer, Natalie Maines, said that the group was "ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas," referring to George W. Bush.

What other political celebrities make the list? Keep reading to find out.

Celebs with Political Stances That You Hate,

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Action movie icon Arnold Schwarzenegger served as Governor of California from 2003-2011. During that time, the state's economy slumped, and the conservative-leaning Schwarzenegger said he was against gay marriage.

Charlton Heston
Later in life, silver screen icon Charlton Heston was nearly as famous for his staunchly conservative – and deeply controversial – views as he was for his illustrious career. Speaking at the 2000 NRA Convention, he held a gun over his head and proudly said the association's slogan: "From my cold dead hands!"
Chuck Norris
Martial artist and actor Chuck Norris is a cult icon, but he has a history of backing losing candidates in presidential elections. The conservative Norris supported Mike Huckabee in 2008 and Newt Gingrich in 2012. He also lost fans due to his support of California's ban on same-sex marriage and his championing of gun ownership rights.
Clint Eastwood
It's no surprise that Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood leans towards the right, but his Obama-bashing speech at the 2012 Republican convention was a bit much for many fans of his films.
Dennis Rodman
After he left professional basketball, Dennis Rodman visited North Korea to host a basketball exhibition. There he met North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who he has called "a friend for life," and has visited multiple times. It's unclear whether Rodman's relationship with the controversial leader is real or staged, but it has certainly earned the athlete plenty of negative attention.

Donald Trump
Business mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump has always been outspoken, especially after his transition into politics. His presidential bid is on a conservative platform, but his blunt comments on foreign policy, women's healthcare, and immigration have alienated voters on both the right and the left.

Jenny McCarthy
Jenny McCarthy stirred up controversy when she started vocalizing anti-vaccination sentiments in 2007. Her son was diagnosed with autism, which the actress has said she believes is linked to vaccinations.
Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson is known to be a conservative Republican on many issues, so perhaps it's not surprising that the former athlete has spoken out in support of Donald Trump in the 2016 elections. In the deeply divided world of American politics, siding with Trump is a controversial act in itself.
Sean Penn
Liberal actor and activist Sean Penn has gained scores of detractors, thanks to his questionable means of sharing his political views. Whether he's bringing down drug lord El Chapo, telling Coachella fans to think of all the atrocities going on in the world mid-festival, or entering post-Katrina New Orleans with his own photography crew in tow, Penn's methods are less than perfect.
Stacey Dash
Stacey Dash has been involved in her fair share of political controversy. The actress and Fox News host has denied the existence of climate change, even calling Leonardo DiCaprio "Chicken Little" after his Oscar speech touched on the importance of caring for the environment. She also caused an uproar by calling for the end of Black History Month, the NAACP Image Awards, and BET.
