Sunset Strip, Los Angeles, Hugh Grant Is Caught with Prostitute
While on a promotional stint for his film Nine Months, Hugh Grant took to cruising the Sunset Strip. It was on one of these drives that he came across a prostitute named Divine Brown. Grant proceeded to pay Brown for her services, which included oral sex in his car on Sunset Boulevard. Grant was caught in the act by police and was ultimately charged with participating in a "lewd act" and exchanging sex for money.
Alamo Cenotaph, San Antonio, Ozzy Osbourne Urinates on Monument
In a drunken stupor, Ozzy Osbourne made the unfortunate decision to relieve himself on an Alamo relic. Despite rumors that Osbourne pissed on the Alamo itself, he actually urinated on the Alamo Cenotaph, a monument across the street preserved to honor the men who died in battle. San Antonio police weren't impressed with Osbourne's antics, and they subsequently arrested him for disorderly conduct and public urination.
Intersection of Pine Tree Dr. and 26th St., Miami Beach, Justin Bieber Arrested for DUI
Justin Bieber was arrested for reckless driving and driving under the influence during a trip to Miami Beach, Florida. The babyfaced singer was pulled over after police caught him drag racing. The arrest would result in a temper tantrum thrown by Bieber at his deposition, and ultimately the longest and most transparent apology tour in celebrity history.
Hotel Chelsea, New York City, Sid Vicious Stabs Nancy Spungen to Death
In 1978, Sid Vicious stabbed his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, to death at Hotel Chelsea in New York City. Vicious claimed he committed the crime during a drug-fueled stupor following an intense fight with Spungen, and that he had no memory of killing her. Vicious himself died of a heroin overdose while out on bail, and thus he never saw his day in court. Many speculate his OD was a suicide, as he had already tried to kill himself a handful of times following Spungen's death.
Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills, Winona Ryder Shoplifts from High End Store
In 2001, Winona Ryder made headlines for shoplifting from the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Beverly Hills. She reportedly attempted to steal upwards of $5,500 worth of clothing and accessories. Ryder was convicted of grand theft, forced to pay restitutions, and complete an extensive amount of community service. Although prosecution argued drugs were involved, Ryder attributed her crime to depression.
Paris Hilton's House, Beverly Hills, the Bling Ring Robs the Star's Mansion
Stars of the reality television show Pretty Wild, for the thrill of it, robbed Paris Hilton's Beverly Hills mansion, along with several other Hollywood socialites' homes, in a string of crimes that became known as "the Bling Ring." Eventually caught on security camera footage, the teens were arrested and prosecuted. These events inspired the Sofia Coppola film The Bling Ring.
1700 Grandview Drive, Alhambra, CA, Phil Spector Murders Lana Clarkson
Eccentric and often unpredictable, record producer Phil Spector fell completely off the deep end in 2003. Police found Lana Clarkson, an actress and Spector's girlfriend, with a bullet wound to the face. While Spector claimed Clarkson's death was an accidental suicide, the jury presiding over his murder trial found him guilty of the crime. He is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
875 South Bundy Drive, Los Angeles, Murder of Nicole Brown
The murder of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman rocked the nation to its core. Former NFL star and Heisman winner O.J. Simpson was famously tried for the murders in one of the most high-profile celebrity murder trials in history.

Simpson was found not guilty, but most still believe he is the "real killer," especially considering Simpson's cancelled 2006 book titled If I Did It, which posits the "hypothetical" scenario that he had in fact committed the crimes, and goes into grisly detail on how Simpson murdered Brown and Goldman. Simpson is currently serving a hefty prison sentence for armed robbery.
Corner of Dorchester Avenue and Pearl Street, Boston, Mark Wahlberg Attacks Vietnamese Man
At only 16, Mark Wahlberg found himself in hot water after he was convicted of a hate crime against a Vietnamese man, Johnny Trinh. After approaching Trinh on a street corner in Boston, Massachusetts, Wahlberg yelled racial slurs and proceeded to beat him senseless.

For years, Wahlberg believed he blinded the man, but only recently has Trinh come forward and stated he lost his vision in the Vietnam War, obviously years prior to the attack. Wahlberg spent 45 days in prison for the assault. He later has pursued a pardon for the crime, but he was denied. However, Trinh has stated he forgives the actor.
Neiman Marcus, Honolulu, Stephanie Pratt Shoplifts, Arrested for Drug Possession
Before The Hills, Stephanie Pratt worked as a PA on the hit TV series Lost. The reality television star had spent years struggling with drug addiction. While on a break from production, Pratt shoplifted nearly $1,300 from a Neiman Marcus in Honolulu.
