Celebrities Who Are 9/11 Truthers
September 11, 2001 marks a tragic day in American history. Thousands of lives were lost, and the global repercussions of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon are still felt today. But while everyone agrees on the horror of the event, some famous actors, musicians, and athletes believe that the whole truth about September 11 has yet to come out. Some of these celebrity 9/11 truthers question the way the buildings came down and others are suspicious of who profited from the attacks.

Who appears on this list of famous people who are 9/11 truthers? Back in 2006, Charlie Sheen expressed his doubt about the public story of the tragedy. "We're not the conspiracy theorists on this issue," he said. "It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 per cent of the targets – that feels like a conspiracy theory." Sheen's father, Martin Sheen, is also a 9/11 truther. Other celebrities who are 9/11 truthers include Mark Ruffalo, Willie Nelson, and Roseanne Barr.

Whatever these celebrities believe, there's no escaping the lasting impact of these terror attacks. Read on to see who else appears on this list.

Charlie Sheen
Back in 2006, Charlie Sheen said, "We're not the conspiracy theorists on this issue. It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 per cent of the targets – that feels like a conspiracy theory."

Margaret Cho
Comedian Margaret Cho doesn't think that the American public has been given the true story regarding 9/11. She specifically wonders why there is so much video footage of the World Trade Center attacks, but nothing from the Pentagon. "Of course it's going to be monitored from every angle at every second and yet we have no footage of it – it's very mysterious," she said.

Marion Cotillard
Marion Cotillard questioned the validity of the reports that the World Trade Towers crashed as a result of the impact from the planes. She said, " We see other towers of the same kind being hit by planes, are they burned? There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, which burned for 24 hours. It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there [New York], in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed."

Mark Ruffalo
"I'm baffled by the way all three buildings came down," said actor Mark Ruffalo. "My first reaction was that buildings don't fall down like that. I've done quite a bit of my own research ...The fact that the 9/11 investigation went from the moment the planes hit to the moment the buildings fell, and nothing before or after, I think, makes that investigation completely illegitimate. If you're going to do a crime investigation, you have to find motive. We didn't follow that. It was quickly pushed away, obviously. There was no evidence at the biggest crime scene. None of us know what happened but I'm totally and completely behind reopening that investigation. Where is the money? Follow the money, guys!"

Michael Moore
Michael Moore was very critical of George W. Bush's response to the 9/11 attacks in his film Fahrenheit 911. 10 years later he said, "There are many unanswered questions and they should be answered."
Roseanne Barr
In 2010, Roseanne Barr shared her thoughts on September 11 with a blog post entitled “people are saying that 9-11 was an inside bush job."

Rosie O'Donnell
In 2007, Rosie O'Donnell said, "I do believe it is the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Tower Seven, building seven, which collapsed in on itself, it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved."

Willie Nelson
Willie Nelson has stated that he believes that the Twin Towers were imploded. "I saw one fall and it was just so symmetrical, I said wait a minute I just saw that last week at the casino in Las Vegas and you see these implosions all the time and the next one fell and I said hell there's another one – and they're trying to tell me that an airplane did it and I can't go along with that," he said.

Woody Harrelson
Woody Harrelson has his doubts about 9/11 and the War on Terror. "This is a racist and imperialist war," he said in a piece for The Guardian. "The warmongers who stole the White House (you call them “hawks”, but I would never disparage such a fine bird) have hijacked a nation’s grief and turned it into a perpetual war on any non-white country they choose to describe as terrorist."

Ronda Rousey
During a 2011 visit to Joe Rogan's podcast, UFC star Ronda Rousey called the 9/11 attacks an "inside job."
